About Charles…
My name is Charles and I’ve been a lover of nature ever since my mother introduced me to her gardens as a child. I am an avid hiker, camper, and photographer. My passion for nature lies in exploring it through hiking, photographing it and researching my findings later. I’m here to write stories about my own adventures in nature, for myself, and my children. My hope is that my experience with nature and humanity will inspire others to become more eco-conscious!”

I took my mom hiking in Arizona. It’s been a long time since she has been able to walk this much.
Our long time friend Molly came with us.
Mom needed to stop and rest so she took photos while Molly and I continued to explore a little more.
More mountain views.

Charles & Stepanie with the bird
This bird landed on Stephanie and she handed it to Charles so he could hold it long enough to get this video.
He messaged and sent me pictures. I looked it up and it is a Painted Bunting, related to the Cardinal, which commonly winter in Florida.
